Mohammed "The Hawk" Shahid

Mohammed Shahid (born July 8, 1989) is an entrepreneur and a mixed martial artist from Bahrain. He is the CEO of KHK MMA and the President of the Bahrain based mixed martial arts organisation, Brave Combat Federation owned and supported by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Mohammed Shahid was the first mixed martial artist from Bahrain to compete in global MMA events. He was assigned a managerial role to develop mixed martial arts in Bahrain as the CEO of KHK MMA. Bahrain established a national team alongside bringing global talent to facilitate the growth of MMA in Bahrain.

MMA career

Mohammed Shahid started his career as a pro-fighter in Super Fight League and BodyForce MMA. He became the first fighter from GCC and the only fighter from Bahrain to be represented in Super Fight League. He became the first fighter from the Middle East to headline the main event of an MMA event. He holds a record of 4-2-0 in his professional career.

Brave Combat Federation

Brave Combat Federation was established by Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa as the largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion in the Middle East. Shahid was appointed as the first President of the Brave Combat Federation. Under the leadership and guidance of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shahid managed the promotion to organise eight events in Brazil, India, Mexico, U.A.E, Bahrain and Kazakhstan within a year.

Mohammed Shahid had announced to host Brave Combat Federation in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in his latest interview for Combate, Brazil.
