Mohamed Yaseen
Mohamed Yaseen (; born 8 June 1982) is a Maldivian politician and entrepreneur who currently serves as a Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources of the Maldives. He was appointed to the position in January 2024 and is one of the ten deputy ministers serving in President Mohamed Muizzu’s cabinet, working directly under Minister Ahmed Shiyam. Outside of government, Yaseen is a director at Marine Coral Maldives Pvt Ltd, reflecting his engagement with the Maldivian private sector.
Early life and education
Yaseen completed his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Diploma in Business Administration at Villa College, Malé. He earned a Certificate in Incentive English GCE A' Level from Kolej Damansara Utama, Malaysia and holds an Advanced Certificate in Hardware Maintenance from Cyrix Computer Training Centre, Malé.
