Miss Venezuela World is an annual national beauty pageant that selects Venezuela's representatives to Miss World.

Miss Venezuela World

The first EDition of Miss Venezuela World was held on August 10, 2013, after Miss Venezuela Organization lost the rights to send a delegate to Miss World. At the End of the Night Karen Soto from Zulia was crowned Miss Venezuela World 2013 and she competed in Miss World 2013 on September 28, 2013 in Bali, Indonesia. and the current Miss Venezuela World is Debora Menicucci of Amazonas.

The winner of Miss Venezuela World represents her country at Miss World. On occasion, when the winner does not qualify (due to age) for either contest, a runner-up is sent. Traditionally the 1st Runner-up of Miss Venezuela represents her country at Miss World. On occasion, when the candidate does not qualify (due to age) for either contest, another girl is sent. As of 2013, Osmel Sousa has created a separate pageant called "Miss Venezuela World" to select its representative for Miss World 2013.
