Background

The Miss Grand Tanzania Organization officially launched the 2026 competition in early 2026, opening applications to aspiring contestants nationwide. As part of the preparations for the national final, all contestants participated in a boot camp in Dar es Salaam, where they underwent training, media appearances, and sponsor activities before the coronation night.

The selection process began with a nationwide call for applications and concluded with an audition held on 25 April 2026 in Dar es Salaam. During the audition, candidates were evaluated through interviews, stage presentations, and other assessments to determine their suitability for the national competition.

Following the audition, twenty-five contestants were selected to participate in the national pageant. The finalists later entered the official boot camp, where they took part in training sessions, promotional events, and sponsor activities leading up to the grand final.
