Miss Balaton

Official name is Gillette Venus Miss Balaton
Miss Balaton is a national beauty contest to choose the hostess of the Lake Balaton, which is the largest lake and touristic attraction in Hungary (and also in Central-Europe). The winner of this pageant sometimes has been sent to minor international pageants.

History

• 1999 The pageant started
• 2006 The winner of the pageant came as 1st runner-up in the Queen of the World 2006 beauty pageant.
• 2007 September: The pageant has a new owner and the new national director is former contestant Edina Bodogh
