Minnaars

Minnaars is an Indie, Math Rock and Dance-Punk band based out of Leicester, England. The band is formed from previous members of popular underground bands; Tired Irie, Computerman and The Traces. During Spring 2008 Minnaars recorded their first EP with production duties performed by Tom Woodhead of ¡Forward, Russia!, with the initial release date being hindered due to the label failing to honor their side of the agreement. The EP was eventually given away as a free download by the band, who refunded all preorders of the EP. The band will then return to the studio, again with Tom Woodhead, Mid-February.

Minnaars EP

The first Minnaars EP was recorded around April of 2008 in Giant Wafer, based in the valleys of Llandrindod Wells, Wales. The recording was completed in a week and was produced by musician, producer and engineer Tom Woodhead.

In early February 2009, the recordings were made available through the bands websites due to a disagreement with an independent distributor due to release the record. It can be downloaded from the following link - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TK1RJW8H.

Minnaars will return to Wales in February 2009 to start recording new material, again with Tom Woodhead as producer.
