Minerva Vier

Minerva Vier is a Eurasian actress best known for New Girl, Dice, and Wingin' It.

Early life

Vier was born and raised in the island of Cebu in the Philippines. She relocated to the US where she received her BFA in Film Studies from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and her MFA in Theater Arts from The Actors Studio Drama School in New York City.

Career

Vier began working professionally as an actress in 2002. She appeared in multiple films including Ark, FAQs, Supply Side Jesus and The Bourne Legacy. She then created and starred in the web series Pun Plip Pridays on Kababayan Today in which she was soon recognized for her comedic talent. She made her television debut on the Fox show New Girl opposite Zooey Deschanel, and went on to appear in AbOUT a Boy, The Young and the Restless and General Hospital, and in 2016, appeared in Wingin' It and Dice.

She has also performed extensively on stage at the Center Theater Group, East-West Players, Playwrights Arena, Latino Theater Company, Will & Co., Antaeus Classical Theater, Casa 0101, Collage Dance Theater, and Teada, amongst many others.
