Mike Haseloff (born in Australia) is a comic book writer. His first prominent published work, The Kirby Martin Inquest, has been released in 2007 by small independent publisher, Nite Lite Theatre.

Biography

Haseloff's earliest known work was the cult digital webstrip, The Mormon and Gay Chef Show. Created in 1999, the series parodied film, comic books, and celebrity through the absurdist adventures of the titular characters. He is now seen to be regularly collaborating with Portuguese penciller, Pedro Cruz; producing both short stories and on-going mini-series.

Mike Haseloff has been shown to be heavily interested in dismissing conventionalism in comics. This has been exibited early-on in his printed work, through the layering of multiple narratives in a story.

Despite his rebellious attitude to writing, he has shown regular interest in the goal of writing superheroes for Marvel and DC.

Though an ACTIVE online personality, Haseloff rarely discusses his personal life. While he lives in Australia, has made online reference to British lineage and in soundbytes, adopted an almost American accent. He has shown specific disinterest in attending conventions.
