Mikal (UK artist)

Mikal is a musician based in London, UK. Born in the 1980's, Mikal is the alter-ego of Michael Harbron, an performance artist from England. Michael appeared in UK based soaps such as Family Affair and Eastenders

His main debut was in Sacha Baron Cohens hit film Ali G IndaHouse as to which he played one of his gangsters.

In 2004 Michael created Mikal, a pop persona to reflect his MusicAL side. Focusing mainly in the Pop/RnB genre, Mikal began his music career writing for other artists, TV shows and commercials including American Idol. In 2007, Mikal began touring the UK and writing his own material, which saw him release his first EP, Crazy Day on September 8th 2008, through major online retailers and later that month through physical copy.

Albums

Mikal is recording his first debut album F.A.M.O.U.S, working with Ben Jones of MBJ Studios. Jones remixed Destiny's Child's hit single "Say My Name" in 2000. Mikal is writing and producing the album, which will be recorded at MBJ Studio.

Appearances

Mikal is featured as a regular guest on LBC Radio's Entertainment, broadcast live from London on Saturday evenings. He has been featured on radio stations in the UK through the Global Radio and Alpha Radio, and was featured in gossip magazine Female First and in the 2009 UK Student Guide as the "one to watch" for 2010. Mikal is currently touring the UK with DJP Dance.
