Miguel La Bamba

Miguel La Bamba (also known as Miguel Sida) is a musician of mexican and swedish descent. He was born in Stockholm, Sweden on march 8 in 1979. His father is a mexican percussionist named Rafael Sida Huizar. In 2002 Miguel started to play clubs as a dj and mc. He wrote songs and lyrics for the group Tristes Tigres. In 2009 Miguel announced the disintegration of Tristes Tigres and started the band Muñeca Sistem. Miguels style of singing is mostly inspired by caribbean singers and american rappers. He has stated Hector Lavoe, Bob Marley, and Cypress Hill as big influences. His lyrics are often melancholic but can also be sensual and sometimes of an explicit [...] character.
