Miguel Angel Sombra
Miguel Angel Sombra (born July 5, 1959) owner and founder of one of the biggest corporations in Canada, Urbancorp Limited; a comprehensive database of skyscrapers (high-rise) and mid-rise real-estate developments within the Greater Toronto Area and other parts of Canada. His land developing branches have expanded internationally His land developing branches have expanded internationally and have covered some of the newest projects in Spain, they respectively share connected headquarters from the United States to Canada.
Biography
History
Miguel Sombra was born on July 5 1959 in Mendoza, Argentina to Teresa and Juan Sombra. Sombra had also spent time with the Argentine Army when he was 17 years of age and though he never fought in battle he made lifelong friends from his time in the Army who later on became his business partners. The turning point in his career was when at the young age of 21 he signed onto a Japanese land developing firm in Argentina being the youngest architect on their team.
Personal life
Sombra married his high school sweetheart Roxana at the age of 29. Their offspring are Michelle and Janette Sombra who are currently enrolled in their high school education.
Career
Urbancorp has had a massive part in the development of many projects in all of Canada. Some of the sites that are in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) are: 954 King West, South Beach, Riviera, Queen's Harbour, Lennox Mews, and Electra (sister company of Urbancorp) which are all located in Downtown Toronto. With the help of his wife Roxana as the Executive Structural and Civil Engineer he also developed Toy Factory Lofts, Chocolate Lofts, and Riviera. Sombra was the Executive Land Developer on those projects and the architects under his wing were Mark Tarmey, Steven Winter and Umberto Wamsley.
