Microcinema International is one of the world's largest independent production distributors founded by Patrick Kwiatkowski and Joel Bacher. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, California, but has offices in Houston, Texas and one under construction in London, England. Microcinema specializes in the acquisition, exhibition, and distribution of independently produced works of an artistic and socially-relevant nature.

In addition to The God Who Wasn't There, the company recently received strong worldwide recognition within the press for distributing Loose Change 9/11: An American Coup, a film by Dylan Avery, Korey Rowe, and Matthew R. Brown.
