Michele Scheveger (musician)
Michele Scheveger (born 27 March 1989) is an Italian singer-songwriter. Michele is the vocalist and primary songwriter of electronic music duo, The C.I.P. He plays guitar, keyboards and synthesizers.
Early life
Michele was born in Tuscany (Italy) in 1989. His mother was a music teacher and since he was very young he started to play piano, violin and guitar; he grew up listening to a big variety of music including ambient, post rock, rap and pop - dance music. Having played in many different bands mainly as a guitarist and singer from 2004 to 2008, it was only at the age of 19 that he decided to start his own project. 2008 was a year of irreversible changes in Michele's life, not only musically. After finishing highschool Michele broke up with his girlfriend, decided to leave his friends with whom he had grown up because of different visions and spent the summer in France, where he got to know a band called M83 that deeply influenced his young days. Being introduced to electronic music by his friend Simone (Who would have soon become the second member of the band) he started to play and write for what would have become "The C.I.P". It took approximately two years to get things ready; after changing line up a few times, Simone and Michele came to the conclusion that The Two formed a perfect balance and that was the best line up they've ever had. Was in 2013 that Michele got in touch with Antonio Filippelli, producer and quite big name in the music industry, having played for "Vanilla Sky" in the World Tour and working for Emi and Sony. That's how Michele started to live in Rome leaving Tuscany for almost 5 months. The studio sessions were long and tiring but "rewarding" as he mentioned in many InterViews. Michele left to Australia in February 2014, where he found a "vivid and amazing" music scene, that helped him having a clearer vision and influenced him a lot. His goal was bringing his music overseas, and that's the aim of The C.I.P.
Music career
Michele officially starts his music career in early 2013 signing for Volcan Records and recording "Daydream". He has a really ACTIVE role in The C.I.P, writing lyrics, taking care of the arrangements using synthesizers, samplers, drum machines and mac programs such as Logic, Ableton, Reason etc.

Michele is also influenced by the skateboarding and surfing culture, by Australia (place where he has been living since 2013) and by the precious gift of travelling around the world no stop as he said in many interviews.
