Michael Lee Shaver, Jr.
Michael Lee Shaver, Jr. (born 1973) investigated as an American serial killer. During his August 19, 2006 arrest for his involvement in an unsuccessful carjacking earlier that morning, he informed deputies his knowledge of human remains which could be found on the 3 acre rental property just northeast of Drexel, Missouri where he and his mother, Shirley Ann Bryson resided. While questioned AbOUT his involvement in the attempted carjacking earlier that day; he spontaneously confesses to murdering seven Kansas City Metro Area men. Shaver explained how he would shoot & kill them so he could rob them for whatever small amounts of drugs and money they had; then proceed to dismember, burn, crush & scattered their bones across the backyard. Initially the police reported that Friday night to have found bone fragments from two bodies. An examination from an anthropologist found pins and screws amongst some of the bone pieces, which he determined to be an anatomical skull, and the others bone pieces were those of an animal and not a humans. On December 13, 2006 [...] charges were dropped due to lack of evidence, however he still is being charged with attempted robbery, aggravated assault, tampering and making a false report when he FACES a judge in January of 2008.
Background
Shaver was born to Shirley A. Bryson. In 1997 he was sentenced to four years in prison for threatening a police officer with a knife.
