Michael Costigan (youth speaker)
Michael Costigan (born January 2, 1993) is an American youth motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and author.
Public speaker, entrepreneur and writer
Michael began professionally speaking at age 17. He was the Recipient of a Youth Venture Grant from Ashoka in 2007 for his work as a young entrepreneur at madFusion.
In 2008 Michael became a columnist for RadicalParenting.com where he has given advice for parents from a young person's perspective and Entrepreneur Magazine's YoungEntrepreneur.com, where has written on various business and startup topics. In 2011 Michael was named 'Young Business Leader of the Year' by the National Financial Educators Council and featured on NPR.
Beginning in 2013 he became a contributor for the online version of Inc Magazine and Entrepreneur.com. Michael is a member of the Young Entrepreneur Council
He has spoken at high schools, colleges, and student organizations across the world including FBLA-PBL, HOBY, and Business Professionals of America. In 2013 he was a keynote speaker at the 2nd 'Annual Young Leader's Gulf Forum' in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as well as the Conejo Valley TEDx event in Southern California.
