Michael Bentley (producer)

Michael Bentley is an entrepreneur in the entertainment business. Bentley is a publicist, A&R, music producer, and radio show producer. He was born in Key Largo, Florida in 1987.

Bentley created and is the executive producer of the sports talk radio show, Thru the Wire. This show is syndicated across the nation including on several CBS and ESPN stations.

Career

An award-winning publicist Michael Bentley, worked with or on publicity campaigns for people or projects involving such as names, Krayzie Bone, Petey Pablo, Freeway Rick Ross, Kia Shine, Nappy Roots, Kuniva from D12, and many more. During the 2008 Presidential election race, Michael leaked news to the press that Mitt Romney was buying 'fake' social media followers. In 2009, Bentley released the news that Kia Shine ghostwrote the song "Best I Ever Had" by Drake. BMI and Billboard both confirmed the truth.

As an A&R Bentley has worked for several record labels including Hoopla Worldwide (part of INgrooves Fontana and UMG).

Thru the Wire Sports Talk Radio

In May 2013, Bentley launched Thru the Wire Sports(TTWS) Talk Radio with sports journalist, Catfish Hughes as the host in the greater Charlotte/Gastonia area on WGNC 1450. Thru the Wire was syndicated on in Bowling Green, Kentucky on Fox Sports Radio 1340 WBGN and on ESPN Radio in New Bern, North Carolina on WWNB 103.9 FM and 1490 AM.

Controversy

The Urban Twist released information on Bentley's involvement in the 2012 Presidential election. The twist is reporting that Bentley was behind the Mitt Romney fake twitter debacle in July 2012. Bentley did not issue any type of statement. The news has since spread to several major media outlets, and the whole Romney-Twitter rumors have been in the press since President Obama defeated Romney.

Bentley is an alumnus of entertainment college Full Sail University.
