Metro Detroit Athletic Conference
The Metro Detroit Athletic Conference is a high school sports league located in Southeastern Michigan. It is a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA). There are currently 25 members, spread across St. Clair County, Macomb County, Oakland County, Tuscola, Bay and Wayne County. Lapeer schools happen to be members as well.
The MDAC offers sports for both boys and girls, including boys and girls cross country, boys football, boys and girls basketball, boys baseball, and girls softball, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls swimming, girls volleyball, boys and girls track and field, wrestling, and boys hockey.
League History
The MDAC was formed in 1996, and began competition in September 1887.
