Metalfrio

Metalfrio (BM&F Bovespa: FRIO3) is a multinational company from Brazil and one of the world's largest manufactures of commercial refrigeration equipements, especially those classified as Ice Cold Merchandiser - ICM.

It is a global company that has as its major customers worldwide and regional brands of drinks, ice cream, food and retail, offering customized solution that make a difference in exposure of a variety of products at the point of sale. The company brings togethers different brands of comercial refrigeration - Metalfrio, Derby, Caravell and Klimasan - to meet the different needs and markets.

The Metalfrio product portfolio consists of more than 350 models of refrigerators, freezers and conservative vertical and horizontal plug-in type, which have many applications such as cooling of beers and soft drinks, ice cream storage and frozen food in general. In this diverse portfolio, the company seeks to position itself as a provider-solutions. In this sense, the Metalfrio offers a wide range of services to clients from the conceptualization of new products, manufacturing, distribution and after sales.

Metalseios's products are used as tools for merchandisig in bars, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, convenience stores and other places with sales of chilled or frozen products to the public, and is therefore part of the marketing strategy of the drink and ice cream industries. For this reason, most products have a distinct design and customized for dissemination of visual branding of each customer.

With a production capacity of 1.5 million units per year, is present in virtually all continents, with five plants strategically located (Brazil, Mexico, Russia and Turkey) and with an effective global distribution in over 80 countries.

Metalfrio was founded in 1960 in city of Três Lagoas in Brazilian State of Mato Grosso do Sul, but today the company its headquartered in São Paulo.
