Memorias De Idhun: La Resistencia

Memorias de Idhún: La Resistencia (Idhun Chronicles: The Resistance in English) is a fantasy story written by Laura Gallego, a young Spanish writer.

The story is about Jack, a boy who saw how his parents were killed by two strangers. When he was going to be murdered as well, Alsan and Shail arrived and took him to a safe place called Limhad. There, he was told his parents had been muerdered because they had something to do with Idhun, another world different from the Earth. Idhun is now ruled by a wicked necromancer, and that is the reason because many mages travelled to the Earth to help being captured, tortured or even killed. In cause of this, Ashran, the necromancer, sent an assassin to eliminate those who escaped from Idhun. Shail and Alsan come from Idhun too, and they have created a group of resistance in which everyone willing to fight Ashran is welcomed. The key of his fallen consists of the last unicorn and the last dragon fighting together, though these creatures are extinghised in both worlds. Due to this, the main mission of the Resistance is to find the unicorn and the dragon, apart from saving as many exiliated mages from Idhun as they can. The real problem comes when Kirtash, the boy who erases every single person that bothers Ashran, falls in love with our little Victoria... and he's not the only one... The confrontation between Jack and Kirtash turns out to be the most intense and dangerous fight throughout the whole story. The feelings between the three main characters can possibly lead them to destruction... or they can keep them away from harm in the most dangerous situations. May Jack, Victoria and Kirtash be much more important in this war than they can even imagine?
