McCraft Ainebyoona

Ainebyoona Craft aka McCraft (born 30 March 2001) is a Ugandan journalist, singer, songwriter and content creator. He majors in broadcast journalism and sings in Runyankole and does comic content.

Early life and education

Ainebyoona was born to parents Julius Mbumbwa and Stellah Komujuni in Mbarara district (now Rwampara district).

He attended Arkden Junior School for kindergarten and nursery, Kashekure Primary School for primary. He joined Nyakayojo Secondary School for Uganda Certificate of Education and later attended Kakoba Institute of Commercial and Technical Studies for National Certificate in Journalism and Media Studies. In August 2025, he enrolled at Bishop Stuart University for Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Career

Journalist

Ainebyoona started journalism career in 2023 at Sky TV (now Tayari West TV) in Mbarara as a video and news editor. He has also worked with Vega Radio, an online radio in Mbarara. Apparently, he hosts the Vision Jam program at Vision Radio 89.1 FM in Mbarara.

Gospel artist

Ainebyoona started singing in 2019 while at Kakoba Institute of Commercial and Technical Studies when he released his first song "My way". Ainebyoona is an Anglican and a member of the Church of Uganda.
