McCowan (VIVA)

McCowan, or McCowan Road, is a Vivastation on York Region's Viva bus rapid transit system, north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It opened on October 16, 2005, on the intersection of McCowan Road and Highway 7 in Markham, Ontario. It is the temporary eastern terminus of the Viva Purple line, and the Viva Green line during peak periods. It was originally to be the temporary eastern terminus of those two lines until roughly July 1, 2007, when the lines would be extended to Cornell. However, the opening is currently postponed to an unknown date.
