Mawuli Dieudonne Tasiame

Reverend Mawuli Dieudonne Tasiame is a clergy, philanthropist and social entrepreneur born on August 25, 1977 in Accra, Ghana. He attended Akatsi Demonstration and Keta Zion Primary Schools and then later completed Aflao E.P. Junior Secondary School where he obtained Aggregate Six with Distinction at the BECE Exams. In his school days at Aflao, he was one of the best academically inclined and disciplined students, he represented his school at various levels of quiz competitions.

Reverend Mawuli was admitted at the Anlo Secondary School (ANSECO) to pursue his senior secondary education in pure science. At ANSECO he benefited from full Government Scholarship due to his excellent academic performance. While studying at ANSECO, he was the President of the Scripture Union, Wildlife Secretary and founded a student political party called Students Progressive Party (SPP) to contest for the SRC Presidency where he won the second position to become the Vice President of the Student Representative Council.

After completing ANSECO in 1994, Rev Mawuli left Ghana to Central Africa and Europe. He was not fulfilled and therefore returned to Ghana in 2000 to take up a management career opportunity with the African Fast Food Giant; INNSCOR. He was one of the few job applicants that the company selected and sponsored to go to its Head Office in Zimbabwe for managerial training and while he was in Zimbabwe for this training, he emerged the best trainee manager. Rev Mawuli after successfully completing his management training at INNCOR in Harare, returned to Ghana as one of INNCOR's Ghana Subsidiary "Brand Managers". During his appointment at INNSCOR, he helped introduced a product that INNCOR franchised. Rev Mawuli was also the Country Director of Redemption Foundation and donated most of his earnings to sponsor the foundation's charity project and the less privilege in his community. This he said, is the fulfillment of his vow made to God that throughout his lifetime he will commit 90% of his wealth to help the less privilege in society especially those without means to acquire quality education and change their lives for better.

Rev Mawuli believes that ignorant is the cause of poverty, therefore he vowed to commit most of his resources to fight ignorance and poverty in Ghana and Africa as a whole.To make his dream distinguishable, he resigned from Redemption Foundation and started preparing towards the formation of what he called Dignified Life International (DLI); a human development and poverty reduction centred charity that will mobilise resources to help transform needy lives and make them productive, dignified, responsible agents of change and development. Rev. Mawuli's DLI started operation after a destiny encounter with renowned educationist, author, preacher and business icon; Dr David Oyedepo at the Maximum Impact Summit in 2002 in Accra. Dr (Bishop) Oyedepo also ordained Rev Mawuli in 2005. Rev Mawuli continues to donate most of his earnings to DLI charity school (mvbitc.com ) since its inception in 2002 at Kuku Hill, Osu-Accra. One of the greatest turning point in his life and that of his charity ministry is his encounter with GS Telecom Executives; Mr & Mrs Blair, who Rev Mawuli said that he owes them a lifetime gratitude because his mission on earth would not have become a great reality with great impacts without Mr & Mrs Blair, their family and friends such as S1 Network President Peter Larson, OTB Element CEO; Marjorie Butler and John Wishart, and corporate bodies such as GS Telecom, Gateway Communications Group.

Rev. Mawuli in his charity and social entrepreneurial mission, had the privileged to meet with great men and women with international recognition, respected businessmen and academicians, high profile political leaders and Presidents of States, renown religious and opinion leaders among others. Rev Mawuli is also the co-founder of ICIIT UK Limited, DLI University College and MVBITC Accra. Rev Mawuli's DLI has international presence in Europe, Africa and Asia. DLI has awarded scholarship to hundreds of needy youths to acquire world class computer education and IT training at its charity school; MVBITC which is the first non profit world class computer education & ITC training centre in Ghana with the state of the art training facility and [...] edge training expertise, business development and job creation programs for its students.

He is the senior pastor of Mercy Sanctuary and a role model to many youths.

At his leisure time, he likes traveling, cooking, voluntary works, giving alms to the poor, preaching and counselling.
