Matthew Morgan (musician)
Matthew Morgan is a musician and a sound engineer. He is a member of the pop-rock band from The Lackies from Greenville, South Carolina. Their debut album, Itch, was released in 2000. He won 2nd Best Instrumentalist for the Upstate Music Awards in South Carolina. He was a sound designer in New York City and producer in various studios through the United States. He has also run live sound for notable bands such as Derek Trucks, Edwin McCain, and Hootie and the Blowfish. He is currently the head engineer and creative director at Sit-N-Spin Recording Studios.
For the 2005 New Year, The Lackies performed live on WROQ 101.1 (GA, NC, SC, TN).

Family
Morgan's brother Davey Morgan is a children's book illustrator in Greenville, SC. Morgan's father, David R. Morgan Sr. was a member of the Carolina Tikis, Romans V and The Britons which opened for the Beach Boys, Dave Clark Five, and The Monkees.
