Matthew Fabisch
Matthew Fabisch (born June 18, 1983) is an American lawyer and Judge. He is a former Executive Director of the Rhode Island Republican Party. and currently serves as the Probate Judge from Smithfield, Rhode Island. He graduated from Bridgewater State University and Roger Williams University School of Law. Fabisch served as the editor-in-chief of the Roger Williams University Law Review.
Law School years
Mathew Fabisch was a member of the bankruptcy moot court competition team, a research assistant to Professor David Zlotnick, and the Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review.
During a summer in law school, Fabisch served as a clerk in Supreme Court of Judicature for His Hon David Mole, QC in England. He later clerked for the Rhode Island Supreme Court serving Judge O. Rogeriee Thompson in the Rhode Island Superior Court.
Fabisch also worked as a clerk for the Arizona Chapter of the Institute for Justice, assisting in a case that would eventually be decided by the Supreme Court of the United States. After finishing law school, Fabisch served as an associate at a regional insurance defense firm before starting Fabisch Law, LLC.
