Matt Rainnie
Matt Rainnie is the host and producer of CBC Radio One's Mainstreet, the afternoon show on CBCT-FM in Prince Edward Island.
After graduating with a journalism degree from the University of King's College in 1993, Rainnie started as a television reporter and videojournalist before moving to radio.
As an actor, Rainnie has been featured on CBC Radio's Basic Black and Madly Off in All Directions, and also on CBC Television's On the Road Again and Emily of New Moon.
Rainnie was also in the first year of the sketch comedy show Sketch-22, and was a former cast member of Annekenstein and 4-Play.<ref name="bio"/>
He lives in Charlottetown with his wife and three children.<ref name="bio"/>
