Matt Caddell
Matt Caddell (born December 2, 1984 in ) is an American football wide receiver for the St. Louis Rams of the National Football League. He was signed by the Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Alabama.
Early life
Caddell tied state and national records with 12 punt return touchdowns as a senior at McAdory High School in McCalla, Alabama. He recorded 828 receiving yards with 14 touchdowns on 14 receptions during final season.
College Career
Caddell played in 50 career games with 17 starts for Alabama. He ended his career with 86 receptions for 1,135 yards and 5 touchdowns. He played in 13 games with six starts as a senior in 2007. He was second on team in receptions (40) and receiving yards (475), adding two touchdowns. He totaled 16 catches for 150 yards with two touchdowns in 13 games as a junior in 2006. In 2005 he played in every game during sophomore campaign and finished season with 13 catches for 179 yards. As a freshman he started eight games and had 331 receiving yards. Caddell redshirted in 2003 as a true freshman.
Professional career

At the NFL Combine Caddel ran the 21st best 40-yard time with a 4.39. He also had the 22nd best veritcal jump with a leap of 39Â― inches. His 10-yard split in his 40-yard dash was 1.44, the fourth best at the combine in 2008.

St. Louis Rams
Caddell signed with the Rams on May 5, 2008, as an undrafted free agent. He was released on August 29, 2008, but a month after he was released, wide receiver Matt Caddell has rejoined the Rams, on September 24, 2008. On November 5, 2008, Caddel was waived by the Rams and placed on the practice squad. On January 1, 2009, Caddell was re-signed again by the Rams, this time to a reserve/future contract. 1
