Matic Kralj

Matic Kralj (born January 15, 1983 in Ljubljana, Slovenia) is a Slovenian Ice hockey player, currently playing for the Coventry Blaze of the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL).

Playing career

Kralj began his playing career playing for the Slovenian under-18 and under-20's teams before moving to the American Central Hockey League (CHL). He played for several clubs in the CHL between 2002 and 2007 as well as making several appearances for his hometown team HDD Olimpija Ljubljana during that time.

In 2007 Kralj moved to the Slohokej Liga, a multinational league in Eastern Europe, where he played for HK Slavija Ljubljana, and HDK Stavbar Maribor the following season.

Kralj entered the British Elite Ice Hockey League in 2009 with Newcastle Vipers, where he posted 72 points in 58 games before leaving for French Ligue Magnus team Pingouins de Morzine-Avoriaz, producing an equally impressive record of 32 points in 29 games.

In 2011 he returns to the EIHL with Coventry Blaze.
