Club career

FC Hjørring

After training with AC Horsens without any agreement, Schlie extended his contract with FC Hjørring.

In the summer 2009, Schlie trained with Vejle Boldklub in one week, this time. They didn't get to any agreement too.

Brabrand IF

On 27 July 2009, Schlie transferred to the Danish 1st Division club, Brabrand IF.

Hobro IK

Schlie signed a contract with Hobro IK on 21 July 2010.

FC Fredericia

After playing one season at Hobro, he joined FC Fredericia on a professional contract on 5 July 2011.

Vendsyssel FF

In the summer 2012, Schlie joined his old club FC Hjørring, who changed name to Vendsyssel FF.

Hobro IK

On 27 June 2014, Schlie joined the new promoted Danish Superliga club, Hobro IK, on a 2-year contract.

Valur (loan)

On 27 July 2015 it was confirmed, that the Hobro reserve Schlie had signed a season long loan deal with Icelandic Úrvalsdeild-side Valur.
