is a Japan-exclusive role-playing video game for the Sega Mega Drive.

Summary

A young boy is found by a warrior named Zafan who raised him like a foster son. When the player turns 16 years of age, Zafan sends him to the king so that he can become a warrior and learn AbOUT his true origins. The game is set in a medieval environment with swords and sorcery throughout the game. As the game progressed, night turns into day and vice versa.

This game is not to be confused with the post-apocalptic game Maten Densetsu: Senritsu no Ooparts for the Super Famicom. According to a reviewer on Retrojrpg, the difficulty level is severely difficulty for the beginning quests - thus earning the distinction of receiving negative reception in Japan. A character is assigned a level 1 character to do a quest that was clearly designed for a level 6 character. Also, there is a gigantic font that seems to overtake the importance of the player's vital statistics.

The game also features the use of a swastika to describe a holy temple in the game. Despite contemporary usage by [...] Germany, the swatiska actually refers to the use by the Buddhists and the Hindus as a religious symbol.
