The Chef had one of the lowest scores for that challenge, but was not eliminated.

The Chef was in the bottom two, but was not eliminated.

The Chef lost and was out of the competition.

The Top 20 Chefs from the audition round were told 8 would be cut.

  • Challenge One: The top 20 were told to create a piece of food that had an egg added to it
  • OUT: Neil, Anneliese, Nicky, Serena and Ondine

10 Chefs were named as part of the final 12, while Paul, Matthew, Sara, Fiona and Elizabeth were given another chance with only 2 being putting through and the other three being eliminated.

  • Challenge Two: The Five who had another chance were asked to create a roast Sunday dinner
  • OUT: Matthew - Was seen as one of the weakest dishes, Paul - His dish was also seen as one of the weakest, Elizabeth - Although the judges liked her dish, they believed Sara was the stronger of The Two
  • IN: Fiona - Was agreed she had the best dish, Sara - Her dish was praised
