Massimo Gerardo Carrese
Massimo Gerardo Carrese (Thun, Switzerland, 1978 - he lives in South Italy, S.S. Giovanni e Paolo, Caiazzo - Caserta).
Scholar in Histories and characteristics of fantasy and imagination, better known as "the fantasiologist" ('fantasiologo' in Italian language).
Since 2005 he organises in universities and schools of all levels, conferences and meetings on "fantasiology", a study on imagination, fantasy and creativity seen in daily situations and in humanities, scientific, playful and artistic disciplines.
He is an essayist, musician, poet and founder of the "Panassurdismo," an interdisciplinary course that, in a playful way, searches the logic of the absurd.
Inventor of games (especially of word games with classical and original structures), he is a puzzle enthusiast (known as Algernon) and a member of the International Functional-Grammar Association, Accademia dei Ludogrammatici, Società Dante Alighieri, Biblioteca di Enigmistica di Modena, founder of the "Ngurzu Edizioni" and a friend of the Italian group "OpLePo" (corresponding of the French group "OuLiPo", Ouvroir de Littérature Potentielle). His studies and researches are published in books preserved by major libraries [such as the Accademia della Crusca, UW Madison Libraries, Russian State Library].
Writes daily on his blog ungrammatical Italian true stories called "SpuntiSunti".
