Mark McDonald (entrepreneur)
Mark McDonald is an Australian software and app developer. He is the Co-CEO And Co-founder of Appster, an app and software development firm in Australia. He was named in the Top 50 Entrepreneurs under 40 recently and his company is less than 4 years old and it has grown into something across the world and 3 continents with over 110 staff members currently.
Education and career
Mark’s educational background is not terribly extensive, but he did complete a Bachelor of Science/Arts which was started while he was still completing year 12 through select entry enhancement programs. He had a particular interest in biology, immunology, molecular biology and international politics. He attended Monash University in 2011.
Since his age was 15, Mark had a background in building a tech business. With his friend Josiah Humphrey, he sold SEO software to companies in the US during his early career. Mark has experience in many areas, but being the CEO of Appster, his main experience is in direct response marketing and sales processes. He also has experience in lead generation, digital marketing, sales negotiation, mobile marketing, app development, commercialization, online businesses, start-up companies, platform abilities, mobile products, platform designs, commercial partnerships and designing user interfaces.
