Mark Hulse is an English fitness guru and currently appointed Fitness Coach at Newcastle United.

Biography

Hulse is a graduate of Loughborough University and played for Loughborough Students Football Club.

In June 2006 Hulse was appointed fitness coach at Crystal Palace when Peter Taylor became manager. They had previously worked together with England Under-21. Hulse left Crystal Palace after working shortly with Neil Warnock in October 2007 and almost joined Bolton Wanderers under Sammy Lee, only for the deal to fall through when Lee was sacked.

In May 2008 Hulse was appointed fitness coach at Newcastle United to replace the departing fitness coach Adrian Lamb. Later in July Geordie Robbie Elliott returned to his hometown club to work under Hulse as strength and conditioning coach.

Hulse has so far been looking at the Italian Way, and putting the Newcastle United players through two tough sessions a day in the build up towards the new season.
