Mama's Gravy
Mama's Gravy are a U.S. Groove Rock band who first came into prominence in Sacramento, California in the early 1990s. They grew to be considered the first and most influential Groove Rock band of Sacramento and one of a short list of unique Sacramento entertainers. The group was founded by Ken Rudulph (singer), Vince Mellone (lead guitar) and Joel McDonell (drummer) who coined the term Groove Rock. It also included two other members in its first incarnation, Chris Jackson (rhythm guitar) and Adam Parlsey (bass). Members included on the albums Cigarettes and Soulfood, Root To The Fruit. include Ken Rudulph (Singer), Chris Jackson (Guitar), Vince Mellone (Lead Guitar), John Mullick (Bass), Eddie Jorgenson (Drums), Matt Mckinnon (Drums) Same members on Attack Of The 3 Headed Funkazoid Freaklovemonster add Jeff Dyer (Guitar) and Slade Anderson (Drummer), Jeremy White formerly of the band The Revolution Smile has recorded on occasion with Mama's Gravy. Members on Return of The Funkazoid Ken Rudulph (singer), Vince Mellone (Guitar), Jeff Dyer (Guitar), Ian Barlow (Bass), John Mullick IV (bass), Matt McKinnon (Drums).
