Makor is a financial services firm, founded in 2011. It is a capital markets investment firm serving only institutional clients. The firm specialises in institutional equity, fixed income sales and trading, and serving the middle market with investment banking services and prime brokerage. The firm is also ACTIVE in new businesses including advisory and asset management services, gaming technology, and other ventures.

Makor's 200 employees work in over 5 locations, including major financial centers in Tel Aviv, New York, London, Paris and Geneva. Together with affiliates, Makor operates in over 6 offices in 5 countries and has over 200 employees.

Oscar Gruss

In 2014, the company was acquired by the group Makor. "OG" set up a currency trading firm in Lvov, Poland in 1918, before fleeing to the US during World War II and opening a brokerage in New York in 1947 with his son Emanuel. Oscar Gruss and Son Incorporated is a full service investment and merchant bank. It provides financial advisory services such as mergers and acquisitions, re-capitalization, strategic partnerships and joint venture assignments, fairness opinions, and valuations. Its corporate finance services include public offerings, and placements of equity and debt for public and private companies. It also provides equity research analysis focusing on healthcare, including biotechnology, medical devices, genomics, and other medical technologies; and communications technology, such as telecommunications equipment, and other areas. Oscar Gruss and Son Incorporated was founded in 1918 and is based in New York, New York with an additional office in Tel Aviv.

Makor Ventures

Makor Ventures is the venture capital and enterprise development arm of Makor Group, which invests in companies with business models focused on the development of innovative, technology-focused products services and marketplaces. Current investments include GT Holdings Limited trading as GamyTech.
