Makeda lineage

The antecedents of the The Makeda Trust originate with the age-old quest for 'perennial wisdom' that has been obscured by the Western narrative of empire, discovery and redemption.

This wisdom is epitomised by the feminine aspects of the universe, that are the archetypal connections between mankind and the environment. The biblical Makeda of The Ancient Sabaean Empire, symbolizes these perennial virtues for the Common Era established under the banner of the Judeo-Christian tradition.

The name of the Sabaean Empire is derived from the hamitic phoneme "SEB" (which is a linguistic variation of the equivalent phoneme "GEB" from which the name "Gabriel" is derived). The hieroglyph for "SEB" is the seastar, which has been adopted by The Makeda Trust as its corporate icon.

The co-founders of The Makeda Trust have integrated these antecedents into a sustainable, organic infrastructure that will move established institutional education standards beyond the adolescent language of "domination' towards a mature language of patience, nurturing, collaboration and deliverance.
