Make Me Famous Make Me Rich

Make Me Famous Make Me Rich is the official Ohio Lottery TV game show as of October 7, 2006. It replaced Cash Explosion, which was the Ohio Lottery's first game show. Cash Explosion ran from 1987 to 2006 and aired its final episode on September 30, 2006.

Unlike conventional game shows, where hopeful contestants must go through an interview and (usually) some sort of test to be considered for the show, anyone over the age of 18 can be on Make Me Famous Make Me Rich. Contestants must first purchase a scratch-off lottery tickets designated as a Make Me Famous Make Me Rich ticket. If he or she scratches off a winning ticket, he or she can mail it into the Ohio Lottery commission. Of all valid entry tickets that are received, 30 of them are randomly selected, and the people who sent in those tickets are contestants on the show.
