History
Mailcoms Ltd has been in business for nearly 10 years. Mailcoms was founded in 2005 from the current Managing Director Des McManus. In 2008, the company gained Royal Mail's authorization accolade. This enabled Mailcoms to become a UK Royal Mail authorized Independent Maintainers and Inspectors of postal franking machines.
In 2011 the company's activities from a family home in Cannock were moved to a purposely built premises, where an investment of over £500,000 took place. These premises now allow Mailcoms Ltd to use larger storage facilities and hold more stock.
In 2012, Mailcoms Ltd became one of two companies worldwide that can offer its own brand of franking machine ink. This ink became Royal Mail approved in 2012, becoming the UK's first company to offer a refill / recycle franking ink cartridge service.
