The Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI-CREDAI), certified with an ISO 9001:2008, is one of the most popular and recognized Real Estate Developers Body in the Mumbai and MMR region; formed in the year 1982. MCHI-CREDAI aims to address issues and developments in the real estate industry and gives its members a platform. It has over 1800 leading developers of Mumbai and has now even expanded across the MMR belt successfully. They have offices in Thane, Kalyan -Dombivali, Mira – Virar City, Raigad and Navi Mumbai.

A recognized body by Government of Maharashtra and the Central Government; MCHI-CREDAI assists them in fulfilling their objectives of providing housing with basic necessities. It is actively involved in raising awareness about new developments in and around MMR & Mumbai region among public as well as Real Estate and Construction Industry. About 80% of Mumbai and MMR's organized development of residential and commercial properties is done by the members of MCHI-CREDAI.

With affiliations with leading Industry Associations like CII, FICCI, IMC and others; MCHI-CREDAI is a member of Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) which is the apex body for India's Private Real Estate Developers.

Overview

1. One of MCHI-CREDAI's prime focus is legalities surrounding the real estate industry. The organization helps its members tackle any legal issue that they may be involved in.
2. Government Liaison is a crucial department, the organization communicates all new developments on behalf of the Government to the members. So that our members stay updated.
3. MCHI-CREDAI has been organizing mega property exhibitions since the year 2000. A one stop exhibition for all property requirements. It is organized twice in a year; the former being in April & latter in October. Keeping in mind the international potential, the MCHI-CREDAI has organized property exhibitions at UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, UK, USA & Hong Kong as well.
4. Research & Development unit is responsible for collecting data on property trends. This enables members to keep a track of market forecasts, dynamics and investments.
5. A well stocked Library is an invaluable asset to MCHI-CREDAI. An extensive E-Library has been developed in order to stay updated and gain more knowledge.
6. MCHI-CREDAI Consumer Grievance Cell (CGC) is a very useful tool to reassure its customers that their interest shall be safeguarded under all circumstances.
