Mack Hall (Ohio State University)
Mack Hall is a Residence Hall on the campus of The Ohio State University, located at 1698 Neil Ave. Columbus, OH.
History
Mack has been a staple of Ohio State's South Campus since construction was completed in 1923. Named after trustee, John T. Mack, the residence hall has Undergone many major renovations in its almost 90-year history. Two major additions in the 1930's, 1940's and again in 2000 more than doubled the size of the once all-female dorm, while bringing it up to code for the new millennium. In 2000, due to the expansion of Ohio Stadium, Mack Hall was chosen to be the successor to the Stadium Scholarship Program which remained until 2006 with the completion of the Scholar's East Residence Hall. Mack Hall currently houses the Advocates for Children and Education Scholars (ACES) and the Inernational Affairs Scholars (IA). It is served by a devoted Residence Hall Council and Front Office Staff, as well as by its RA's and other hall staff.
