M2SYS is an U.S. based company that provides leading fingerprint biometric technology all over the world.

History

The company first established itself at 2001 and started off as a small Software company working with supply chain software. But later they have aligned themselves as a fingerprint biometric Research and Development company producing both fingerprint software and fingerprint reader hardware.

Today the company provides its products to many software companies all over the world to integrate with its flagship product BioPlugin1 to various law enforcement, education, fitness and leisure, time and attendance, banking, child care, transportation security, and health care institutions. Also, M2SYS claims that their software that eliminates development cycle related to Fingerprint SDK based development.

M2SYS has a strong market in the U.S. and UK and in 2006 during the Nigerian National Elections; M2SYS was invited with their partner to provide bio-metric fingerprint technology to help in the elections to PReVENT identity theft.

The company later in 2007 received the prestigious 2007 Biometrics Technology Innovation of the Year Award from Frost & Sullivan.
