Lux Park

Lux Park Leisure Centre is the local leisure centre for the town of Liskeard and its surrounding area. The centre itself, is located within the town. The centre started out life in the 1970's as an outdoor swimming pool but has since been extensively added too and is now supports the town as an award winning leisure facility.

Facilities

Lux Park boasts a wide variety of facilities including:

A Fitness suite,

Dance studio and multi purpose room,

Sports hall,

Tennis and squash courts,

A Health suite including a spa, steam room and sauna,

A CoFFEE shop which has recently achieved the gold Cornwall Healthier Eating and Food Satety (CHEFS) award.1

An Indoor bowling green

Lux Park leisure centre also hosts a large number of fitness classes run by qualified staff and it also runs several national courses including the NPLQ Course and First Aid at Work Course.

Cassie Pattern - Olympic Bronze Medalist2. Worked as a lifeguard at the Leisure Centre.
Trevor Woodman - Former England Rugby Union Player. Belonged to the Liskeard Looe Rugby/Football club which is situated on the grounds of Lux Park.
