Lunatic Society
Lunatic Society is a Belgian old school punkrockband, est. in 1992.
Lunatic Society released its first demo cassette in 1994. The band operated six years under the original line up. Since 1999 they play with the current line up: Hans (singer), Herman (guitar), Ludwig (bass) and Erik (drum).
The first full album "Brewed in Belgium" was released in 2000. "Brewed in Belgium" contains seventeen old school punk rock tracks and was recorded live on tape. Three years later the band released their first studioalbum, called "Ten years of bear boots and punkrock". Lunatic Society started to work with The Horny Horns on the third album "Punx go all the way" in 2005. The ska-influences are subtile, but enlarged the range of the music of Lunatic Society with a trumpeter and a saxophonist.
Lunatic Society extended the work with the horn blowers on "Answers", the fourth full album of the band. "Answers" unites all the goodnes of the previous albums, with songs like "Strike", "Disabled", "Moonshine" and "Pendecho".
Through the years Lunatic Society played with well known bands als GBH, UK Subs, Chaos UK, The Casualties, Belgian Asociality, Sunpower and Funeral Dress.
