Luke Sullivant
Luke Aaron Sullivant (born August 11th, 1979 in Little Rock, Arkansas) . Luke Sullivant is a studio and touring musician based in Nashville, Tennessee. Luke is the current guitar player for Grammy Award nominee Nicole C. Mullen. Sullivant started his career as a guitar and bass player in the realms of jazz, hip-hop, r&b and soul, before returning to his roots in rock, pop, CCM and Gospel. Since the age of seventeen, Sullivant began traveling as a musician, playing lead guitar and bass, or occasionally headlining on his own.
Sullivant has been commissioned to perform, tour, and record with many recognized artists, not the least of which include Grammy Award winners: Nicole C. Mullen and Kirk Whalum. He has worked with Dove Award winners such as Sara Groves, Tait, members of Caedman's Call, Andrew Peterson, Jill Phillips, Derek Webb; Canadian Juno Award winner Jill Paquette, and up and comers Stars Go Dim. He's also had the privilege to work with several Grammy Award winning engineers such as Russ Long, Ben Fowler and Bryan Lenox
As a session player, his guitar and bass playing can be heard (to date) on over 50 albums, including projects he's produced. He recently aseembled a studio in Nashville, Tn with long-time collaborator Lester Estelle Jr. (www.myspace.com/gruntworksouthstudio) Luke is also the band leader at Strongtower Bible Church (www.stbch.org) in Franklin, TN He frequently is seen supporting his wife Rebekah Sullivant, a singer/songwriter/worship leader. Together they recorded two albums in Ireland
