Luke Massey
Luke Massey's film career began in 2000 when he was just 17 as a trainee camera operator on BBC drama 'Servants'. He had no professional qualifications at the time or formal training. Luke's training at the BBC only lasted a year before he was working as director of photography on a short film which appeared at Cannes - "The Lanes", and working with actors such as Alan Rickman and Ricky Tomlinson.
In the past seven years Luke has worked as director of photography or director on a variety of projects; from a comic relief music video with Tony Blackburn to the award winning documentary on Peter Green, founder of Fleetwood Mac , featuring Mick Fleetwood, Santana, and Noel Gallagher from Oasis.
In 2006 Luke directed his first feature film 'The Found Not Missing'; Luke sold the European film rights using the profits to set up his own production and rental company Green Manalishi Productions'
Luke cites Robert Rodriguez, Sam Raimi & Roger Deakins amongst his influences.
Luke is currently in Post-production of "Within The Woods 2008" - A violent, zombie horror picture based on the results of a mutated version of the H5N1 avian bird flu virus hitting the human population. It is due for release in June 2008
