Lucca Dourado
Lucca Dourado (born 3 October 2000) is a Brazilian professional footballer two plays as a forward for the Richmond Kickers in USL League One.
Early life
Lucca Dourado was born on 3 October 2000, in São Paulo, Brazil. He also has a twin brother. His favorite player and idol is fellow Brazilian footballer Ronaldo.
Youth and college career
Lucca Dourado started his career at Montverde Academy, an academy based in Florida. Where he won the Golden Boot during his senior season after being named the program’s Best Player award.
He started his college career for the UCF Knights in 2020, where he racked up a total of 69 appearances and 43 goals. Dourado even received numerous awards for these accomplishments.
Professional career
On 27 January 2025, Dourado signed his first professional contract to join USL Championship club Birmingham Legion. He made his debut for the club in a 3–1 loss against Loudoun United.
He made his only other appearance was through a substitution against Louisville City which ended in a 1–1 draw. As Dourado was not subbed in again after this and was left on the bench.
Forward Madison
On 16 May 2025, due to limited game time for Legion FC, Dourado was loaned out to USL League One club Forward Madison for the rest of the 2025 season. He made his debut for the club in a 1–1 draw against expansion club Westchester SC. He scored his first goal since college, scoring in a 2–1 loss against Spokane Velocity on 14 June. He made 22 appearances and was 2nd as top scorer for the club that season.
South Georgia Tormenta
On 22 December 2025, Dourado joined Tormenta FC for their 2026 season. But however on 23 February 2026, South Georgia Tormenta announced they were not fielding a team for the 2026 USL League One season.
Richmond Kickers
On 3 March 2026, Dourado signed for the Richmond Kickers on a multi-year contract. He made his debut for the club getting subbed in a 1–1 against AV Alta. He scored his first goal for the club in a 2–0 win against NoVa FC. He scored the only goal against Loudoun United in the U.S. Open Cup. He started his first game for the Kickers in a 3–0 loss against MLS club Columbus Crew in the same competition.
