Lokhandwala Foundation School
Lokhandwala Foundation School is an English-medium school in Whispering Palms, Kandivali, Mumbai, India.
Affliated to the ICSE board, LFS is one of the leading educational institutions in suburban Mumbai. The school recently shifted to a larger building than its previous property. The new campus has a futuristic design, spacious classrooms and facilities aimed to give its students all round development.
The school also started offering the ISC that is the 10+2 curriculum of the ICSE, which could have been a possible reason for the shift into the bigger campus. It is lead diligently by its principal since the past 10 years, Dr Mrs Malini Goyal.
The old school building had four floors, a basement and a terrace. There are AbOUT 60 classrooms. There are four houses- Yellow House, Red House, Green House and Blue House.
There are two playgrounds. One is used in the sports periods to play football and volleyball. The other ground does not belong to the school officially but the school can use it. Our school has a football team and a throwball team. The throwball team was a winner at state level and also participated at the national level.
