LiveATC.net
LiveATC.net (Abbreviated as LiveATC) is an audio streaming site that provides a live feed of Air Traffic Control communications around the world. As of December 12, 2011, there are over 560 ACTIVE feeds available, ranging from Clearance Delivery to sections of low-altitude Center sectors.
History
LiveATC began with feeds from Boston Logan International Airport in late 2003 (based on date domain became online). The site has grown to include over 560 feeds all over the world.
Most LiveATC feeds are archived for retrieval for up to 50 days.{{#tag:ref|50 days as posted on their recording page, 45 on their FAQ.|group="note"}} There are some feeds that are not archived due to local regulations.
Use in the Media
Because LiveATC is the largest collective site for air traffic feeds, many news outlets will use a recording of a feed from the site for any relevant aviation articles.
