Little Clive River

The Little Clive River is a tributary of the Patten River, flowing into the Cochrane District, in Northeastern Ontario, in Canada. The "Little Clive River" flows in the townships of Clive and St.Laurent.

Geography

The surrounding hydrographic slopes of the "Little Clive River" are:

  • North side: Patten River, Burntbush River, Turgeon River (Ontario and Quebec);
  • East side: Turgeon River (Ontario and Quebec), Boivin River (Quebec);
  • South side: Patten River, Patten South River, La Reine River (Abitibi Lake) (Quebec and Ontario);
  • West side: Kabika River, Kabika River East, Case River.

The source of the "Little Clive River" is a stream (elevation: ) located at:

  • West of the Ontario - Quebec border;

  • North of the mouth of the "Petite rivière Clive";

  • North-East of the northwest bay of Abitibi Lake.

From its source, the "Little Clive River" flows on according to these segments:

  • North in Clive Township to a bend in the river;

  • east to a bend in the river;

  • in the North, then the North-East, winding up to a creek (coming from the South-East, Quebec). Note: This confluence is located on the boundary between the townships of St.Laurent and Clive;

  • northwesterly to the mouth of the river.

The mouth of the "Little Clive River" empties on the west bank of the Patten River. This mouth of the river is located in the forest zone at:

  • west of the border Ontario - Quebec;

South of the mouth of the Patten River;

  • southwestern mouth of Turgeon River (confluence with Harricana River);

  • north of Northwest Bay of Abitibi Lake.
