List of the 33 best players in the Russian Football Premier League

The Best 33 Players in Russian Football is a list of the top 33 players of the Russian Premier League, compiled annually by the Executive Committee of the RFU at the end of each season. The list consists of three players (№ 1, № 2 and number 3) per position: one goalkeeper, four defenders (one right, two central, one left), four midfielders (one right, two central, one left) and two forwards (right and left). Throughout the years, the designation of positional pairs of the central defenders and midfielders changed (e.g. in 2002 the defenders were libero and stoppers, the midfielders - central and defensive).

Since 1992, the "Top 33" has included 280 players (693 positions), representing 29 clubs. The greatest number of players has come from Moscow clubs Spartak (131) and CSKA (124). Sergei Ignashevich has made the list a record number of 13 times.
